Happy Halloween!

No Halloween costume this year, but she did have several cute Halloween outfits, so we thought we would share those!

New Shutterfly Link

I've been requested to continue to upload Ainsley's pics to Shutterfly on a regular basis. I will try to upload them once or twice a month. I've added a link on the right side of the blog that will take you to her collection of album's on Shutterfly. I've uploaded new pictures today.

Here is a picture of her I took since I uploaded the new pictures to Shutterfly. She got a good grip on the ring before falling asleep with it in her hand!

More Visitors

Ainsley had more visitors on Sunday. This time she met her Great Aunt Amber and her Great Grandmother! What a blessing to have great grandparents! She also met two of her dad's cousins, Brittany and Krista, who were very excited to meet her and hold her! We can't wait to see everyone again at the Caughron Christmas!

Cousins

Cousin Michelle and Shawn (aka Aunt Michelle and Uncle Shawn) came to meet Ainsley for the first time today! Unfortunately, Ainsley decided to nap through most of the visit. Of course she woke up soon after they left as you can see in the last two pics and has been awake most of the afternoon now. Ainsley can't wait for Aunt Michelle and Uncle Shawn to have a little one for her to play with!

First Night in the Crib

Ainsley has been waking up early with Dustin now that he has started his new job, so I decided it was time she move into her room and sleep in her crib. She had been sleeping in her pack and play in our bedroom and doing very well up until this week. I really hadn't planned on moving her out anytime soon, but Dustin is now getting up at 6:30am. She wakes up between 3 and 5 am to eat and was then waking up again with Dustin at 6:30am and refusing to go back to sleep. So, last night was her first night in her crib. She slept like a log until 5am and then went right back to sleep after eating around 6am. She didn't wake up again until 8:45am and this is how I found her! I felt soooo awful, but she didn't seem to care all that much. I'm not sure how long she was in this position. I'm working on solutions already. Bless her heart!

Got It

I got a decent picture of Ainsley working her smile this afternoon. Unfortunately we had to get out in the cold this afternoon to pick up some things and she was all smiles while I got her bundled up to keep warm!

Thanks to Nana for my new blanket she knitted me! It kept me warm while we were out!

6 weeks and counting

So I've decided to be cool and do the "in" thing and start a blog for Ainsley so that family and friends can keep up with what's happening not only with her, but with out family in general. I hope to update it at least once a week or every other week with a picture at the very least, but don't shoot me if its less than that once I return to work in three weeks.

Ainsley was 6 weeks yesterday and Dustin and I are amazed at how much she changes each day. She's started smiling for real this past week and is working hard on turning her smiles into grins. Unfortunately, we haven't really been able to capture it on camera just yet. Hopefully we will soon! So instead of sharing a smiling baby picture, I'll share a picture of a sleeping baby.

Here are some of our other favorite pictures of Ainsley thus far:
