Christmas 2010

Christmas was so awesome this year because Ainsley was completely into it and understood it for the first time!

Surprisingly, Ainsley jumped in Santa's lap this year, however, Amelia just wanted to hide.

Sock Thief or Hoarder?

Our pile of mismatched socks had been growing for a few weeks when I went to retrieve a toy Amelia had tossed behind her crib. This is what I found...

Dressup!

Thanskgiving

On Thanksgiving Day we visited Granny Doe and Pawpaw James. The girls had fun picking up pecans in the yard and checking out all the deer in their neighborhood.

Trick or Treating

This year we trick or treated with the Wilson's. Their neighborhood is MUCH better for trick or treating than our own, but the girls wore out fast! I was very impressed with Amelia! She joined right in and even said trick or treat when she made it to the door in time!

Parade and Pumpkin Carving

The girls participated in the annual Halloween parade at their daycare. We missed it last year, so this was Amelia's first time to participate. Unfortunately she jetted the second she spotted us!
































After the parade, the girls and I came home to carve the pumpkin. While Amelia was a little hesitant to get her hands dirty at first, I was very surprised that Ainsley dug right in. Unfortunately I forgot the after pictures.

Pumpkin Time

For the fourth year in a row, we headed to the pumpkin patch near our house to pick out a large pumpkin for carving! The girls had a blast.

We've Got a Problem

First Hair Cut

We waited FOREVER for Ainsley to have hair and as a result we waited FOREVER to cut it!

Swim Lessons

We decided to avoid the insanity and wait to enroll Ainsley in swim lessons after the summer rush was over. Okay, I procrastinated and never could get into a lesson that worked into our schedule, so I had to resort to waiting until school started, but it did turn out nice because it wasn't so crazy and classes weren't full. And best of all, she just turned three and was able to take big girl classes which meant I did not have to get in the water with her. I was certain she'd panic and refuse to go to class on her own, but she surprised me and loved it.

Baby Yoga?

Not sure what she was doing, but Ainsley just had to join in.

We had Ainsley's birthday party at The Colony Aquatic Park. Easiest birthday party ever...and the perfect place for a swim party for little ones. Ainsley and her friends had a blast.
