She also got a new laptop that she loves, but most of her playing with it has been in the car and at 7 and a half months pregnant, I don't do backwards photography from the front seat!

Ainsley the Angel

This is Ainsley's Christmas card from daycare. It was too cute not to share.

Santa Take 2

Actually, its still Santa Take 1, with just a touch of Photoshop from my friend Maria. I like to think I've gotten good at Photoshop, but she will always be way better than I am. So here's the perfect picture of Ainsley with Santa thanks to Photoshop and Maria.

Santa

Santa came to my work party tonight! I'm fortunate enough to have Santa's wife working mornings for me at the Recreation Center. She also planned our party this year, so Santa didn't have much of a choice but to make an appearance. Since we decided not to torture Ainsley as a baby last year with a Santa visit, I was curious to see what her reaction would be this year. While the pictures aren't the best (she threw a fit when I tried to take her sippy away), she actually really liked him. He sat about 6 feet behind us during his visit and she kept walking back and forth between the two of us and would reach out to get up in his lap. I was shocked.























Side note...I've seen some scary and not so authentic looking Santas around lately...if you like this one...he works for Picture People at Stonebriar. He's a very sweet guy and great with the kids!

Tub Art

Yesterday was the Caughron family Christmas and I forgot to take my camera out! One of Ainsley's great aunt's gave her some new bath tub toys. Tonight we turned her bath water red (intentionally).















She colored all over the side of the tub.















She was very proud of her masterpiece.















When she was done coloring she made sure to put all her colors in her tug boat. She rarely puts things in the boat. May she wanted to keep them all together for her next bath.

















And it actually cleaned up quite easily. Ainsley came out clean too.

Big Girl Hair

This is how Ainsley's hair was fixed when I picked her up from daycare today. And it wanted to stay that way after taking the rubber bands out for bathtime. Who knew she had enough hair for pig tails? (You may have to click on the pictures to see them...they are small!)

Ainsley's New Purse

Dustin's parents bought this purse on their cruise and while I assume it was for me, Ainsley has claimed it as her own.

First Ornament

Ainsley had the honors of putting the first ornament on the tree, and she admired her work afterwards. Actually, she held onto the ornament, played with the tree limb, and then whined to get the ornament back after Dustin put it on the tree, but she still had fun.
