Grammy and Granpa came to visit today and brought Ainsley a Fox in the Sox stuffed animal. She likes to grab him by the neck and hug him and thinks its funny when his ears tickle her face.
...the more interesting dinner time gets. She is eating lots of finger foods now. When I get ready to make her dinner, I now have to consider if its safe for the dogs to eat. We also bought her a new bib to catch the food she drops (its contents are a good indicator of how well she likes something), which cuts down on Charlie and Gabe's new diet. Well, it did until a few days ago when she learned its fun to just drop the food straight onto the floor for her furry friends. She even stores food in her bib sometimes...until she gets caught.
Ainsley has learned how to throw things, so Dustin played catch with her this week. Then she got distracted by the camera and decided rolling around was more fun. Excuse the naked baby in a diaper look...she made a mess at dinner and it was almost bath time.
Nana and Papaw were in town last weekend and Ainsley got a couple of little early birthday gifts. The first is a swing, which she loved. And the second was a little sponge you use with babies in the tub so she can sit on it in the big tub and not slip. Like always, she wanted to hoard her toys in the tub, but its harder when her toys can float further away.
Ignore the techno music in the background...water aerobics was just over the bulkhead from Ainsley's class. Notice how she's well aware of when it's time to go underwater.
