Birthday Night

We've decided our birthday tradition will be taking the girls somewhere fun for their actual birthday, regardless of what night it is. Last year we took Ainsley to Chuck E. Cheese and this year we tried out Planet Pizza. We were one of two families there, so we had the run of the place.

Ainsley loved everything except the pirate ship. Amelia on the other hand wasn't so sure about some of the bigger rides.

It's hard to believe she is already 3 years old!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ainsley!

I took cupcakes to Ainsley's class for her birthday. I'm not quite sure why she started out so unhappy. Maybe because she wanted to eat the cupcake, but knows that she must wait for everyone to be served? Or maybe because the only thing she really cared about was leaving with me. Either way, she eventually dug right in...hands free.

Labor Day Weekend

We took a quick trip to Shreveport for Labor Day weekend to do not much of anything! We hung out at Nana and Papaw's and enjoyed the back porch and playing dress up with high heel shoes and then Sunday went to a friend's third birthday party.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly such sweet moments can change.

Sea World Day Two

Day two consisted of some more Shamu and more time at the water park where Amelia passed out in her daddy's arms.
































Our friends convinced us to purchase annual passes that are good until this time next year. We are looking forward to heading back to San Antonio soon. Unfortunately our plans to end the weekend at the Kiddie Park were scratched when I ended up in the ER with another kidney stone. Hopefully we will make it there next time! Thank you Lenzie, Cory, Jaxon and Hallee for having us!

Sea World Day One

Thanks to our friends Lenzie and Cory for being such excellent tour guides! We got there early, parked close and hit the shows first.

McKenna Children's Museum

The first stop on our first family vacation was the McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels. It was the perfect place to stop to let the girls run off some energy after sitting in the car or four hours.

No Biggie!

Poor Amelia was put on breathing treatments again. Unfortunately it had been long enough since the last time that she did them that she didn't remember and she totally flipped out at the doctor's office. Thankfully by the end of the first day she was an old pro again and didn't mind the treatments at all.

Lake Whitney

We went to Lake Whitney to celebrate Dustin's cousin's graduation from college. While we did not get any pictures of the girls in the lake, Ainsley surprised us and loved being in the "big pool." She floated in the lake with Dustin and I for almost three hours.
