Easter Egg Hunt #1

Dustin braved the crazies at The Colony's Easter Egg Hunt this evening with Ainsley. He said she picked up the concept fairly quickly and came away with 8 eggs! No prize eggs, but she still had fun opening them up and pulling the candy out. She also was brave enough to give the State Farm Neigh-bear a high five. I guess the Easter Bunny hasn't permanately scarred her from liking big furry animals forever. However, I don't think she would have sat on his lap given the opportunity. Tomorrow she has an Easter egg hunt at daycare and I'm going to try to make it to take pictures.

(For those of you who don't live around here, notice how brown the sky looks in the pictures. That's from the wild fires west of here. I've only seen it liks this one other time when there was a grass fire north of us, but it wasn't this brown from what I remember. It was actually a beautiful blue sky day before this moved in.)
