Happy 2nd Birthday Ainsley!

Ainsley is 2! She started the day by picking up her birthday "crown" at the front desk at daycare. I took cupcakes to her class at school for afternoon snack and we sang happy birthday. The kids are taught in class to wait until everyone has their snack before starting to eat, but I'm fairly certain almost every child had put a finger in the icing before they were given the go ahead by their teachers. Ainsley wasn't shy and dug right in. I'm sure quite a few parents were probably annoyed with me when they saw their children's clothes this afternoon. Oh well! Then Ainsley left school early to run errands with me for her party this weekend.

When her daddy came home, Ainsley showed off her birthday crown and we loaded everyone up and headed to Chuck E. Cheese. I forgot my memory card in my laptop, but trust me when I say she LOVED it! We had a very tired girl by the time we got home. I will have to take her official 2 year picture later this week.

It's hard to believe how much she has grown this past year! Check out her 1 year post! Where did all that hair come from? She's putting more and more words together and will be talking our ears off soon enough. She loves taking care of her babies, checking on her sissy, dancing, Barney, and the dogs. She also evidently has a love of singing, or least making me sing any song I can think of (this is how we spent the car ride to Chuck E. Cheese tonight)...at least someone loves my singing. We can't wait to see what this next year brings us!
